Thanks so much for visiting.  I hope that you find this website helpful for you to gain more insight into what Medical Qigong (chi kung) is and how it can help you heal your body and maintain the best health.

I grew up in Hagerstown, MD in the big Keely family.  I had a great time living there a bit in the country and never too far away from my grandparent’s old stone house.  When I was a child, I frequently would feel this warmth of energy in my hands, but didn’t really know what it was or how to use it.  That feeling stuck with me as I got older, but nothing ever sparked any more understanding until I found Spring Forest Qigong.

As soon as I found SFQ it was like a part of me that I couldn’t explain was becoming clearer.  Through my studies of Jesus at church, new ideas of energy work, and possibilities of using energy to heal your body I was hooked and began my life-long study of qigong.

What I love about qigong is that anyone can use it.  As a Christian, I look forward to bringing the benefits to everyone, and appreciate the fact that everyone from any religion or even people who aren’t religious can reap the benefits of qigong exercise and meditation.

I really started getting serious about my practice of qigong after my grandfather passed mostly because of medical negligence.  He was sick over the winter and a doctor prescribed him medication that wasn’t supposed to be taken if one had kidney problems, which he did.  Every day I talk with people who don’t really have a great way of getting help with their health issues.  It’s just another prescription that doesn’t really solve the complete problem. People in many cases aren’t really treated for their problems, they are just treated for the latest symptom even though most doctors try to do their best in helping patients heal.

Western medical doctors do great things for people all around the world, but medication is only a temporary fix, and until we take responsibility for our health over the long-term, solutions will be hard to reach.  Still believing in the greatness of western medicine, my goal is to help people find alternative and complementary methods of healing and preventing disease.  I want to give you options because if you truly want to heal your body, we can make it happen.  If you’re ready to be empowered, I’ll be talking with you soon.

That’s a little bit about me and I look forward to meeting you!

Best regards,

Alexander
